I’m a designer who likes untangling complex problems with other collaborative folks. Some of my most satisfying moments come from finding the simplest ways to make meaningful, positive changes.

I try to use the tools of design to listen deeply and find connections, connections that enable us to understand the tangible needs of real people. I value openness to new ideas, careful reflection, and the diligent evaluation of concepts and their impacts on people’s lives.

I believe that design can be used to empower people to make better decisions for themselves as well as the people they serve and care for. It isn’t always, but it should be.
